Area residents are invited to mark their calendars to attend a showing of the documentary Terra Firma Monday, March 23, at the Paton-Churdan school auditorium. The event will begin at 6:30 pm. The Churdan library board and staff is organizing and hosting the event.
The film is about three female combat veterans who learn to deal with their PTSD through gardening and small scale farming. Sonia Kendrick of Hiawatha, who is one of the women featured in the film, will attend the Churdan showing.
